Carnal Machinery is the solo project of Leipzig-based musician Jacques Saph. Seeking to create an unique sound, Carnal Machinery draws influences from punk and deathrock, while using fully electronic instrumentation to create an abrasive and sinister music for Jacques to scream their anguished and raspy vocals over.
After a string of self-released singles and music videos, Carnal Machinery released their first album "Cluster A" on Polish label Batcave Productions. The album received positive press coverage, including by Post-Punk.com.
Seeking authenticity and experimentation, Carnal Machinery switched to an analog setup and the sound became more gritty, colder and more minimalistic. After relocating to Germany, Carnal Machinery is now working on their second album.
